Stacking the Shelves is a feature hosted by Tynga's Reviews - it's a way for us to chat about the books we bought/borrowed/received during the week!
Vlog:
No vlog, youtube has been processing it for over an hour :/ If I can get it to work, I might add it later on
Mentioned:
For review I received Scarlet (Lunar Chronicales #2) by Marissa Meyer!
And I purchased a copy of Life in Outer Space by Melissa Keil because it's already one of my favourite books of 2013! If you're in the USA, you can buy the Kindle version - DO IT!

Life in Outer Space is supposed to be fantastic. I didn't realize Scarlet was in The Lunar Chronicles series. It looks very... Red Riding Hood. I got on kindle Thomas & January for free and bought Callum & Harper.
A couple weeks ago I received Cinder for review, as I haven't read it yet (I know, I'm so awful! I'm just catching up on the first book while everyone is loving the second!) Scarlet looks just as phenomenal, and I love the plot of this one.
Life in Outer Space looks amazing - and that front cover is sooo cute! I'm going to have to get my hands on a copy asap!
Enjoy both of your news books, Mandee! I am incredibly envious over here! I'm looking forward to seeing what you thought of Scarlet. :D
I wasn't a big fan of Cinder, but I just LOVED Scarlet, Mandee! I can't wait to see what you think of it and I really need to read My Life in Outer Space soon. It sounds amazing! :) Wonderful haul this week, dearest!
I'm wavering over whether or not I want to read Scarlet - I quite liked Cinder, but for some reason I can't get excited about the sequel! Whenever I see the cover for Life in Outer Space, it makes me smile as I think if I ever designed a book cover, it'd look pretty much like that - bright and cheerful and lots of yellow. :)
I had some mixed thoughts on Cinder, but everyone has been raving about Scarlet, so I think I might just give in a reserve a copy at my library. :) I can't wait to see what you think of it! Great haul, lovely.
Wow, I've been seeing a lot of unexpected love for Cinder this last week. I had totally discounted that book. I don't know, something about the blurb put me off. I know you really enjoyed it and seeing Keertana's comment above it's likely you'll love Scarlet even more. Can't wait to see what you think. My Life in Outer Space seems to be getting a lot of love as well. I'll definitely check that out, especially that it's available for kindle! So rare with an Aussie read here. Enjoy your reads Mandee. :)
YAYAYYAYA, I loved Scarlet!
I need to get myself a finished copy of Life in Outer Space before the launch at the end of the month.
I still need to read Cinder which I've had since last year when I was sent it, and since I got Scarlet too.... it's a sign that I need to read the asap.
Hope you enjoy Mands!
I am so excited for Scarlet, I really enjoyed Cinder. I'm definitely going to have to grab a copy of Life in Outer Space, it is getting so much praise.
Happy reading :-)
So far I'm enjoying Scarlet more than Cinder, which is saying a lot because I really enjoyed the start of the series.
Nice books this week. I need to get to Scarlet. I though Cinder was okay. Interesting enough for me to want more. Happy Reading!
I really need to read Cinder so I can start Scarlet! Hope you enjoy it!

I just finished reading Scarlet yesterday and I absolutely loved it. Just as good as Cinder, imo! :)
Life in Outer Space's cover is very pretty. And so colourful!
I haven't read Cinder yet but it's on my TBR pile so I must come to it soon. Happy reading! :)
Life in Outer Space sounds interesting! <3 And I read and really liked Cinder last year when it came out... can't wait to start on Scarlet! Happy reading, chickie!

Also, I really hope you enjoy Scarlett. I'm desperate to read that one too!
Love, love, love. -The Beatles. :)
I'm so excited to read Scarlet and I loved Life in Outer Space! I'm so torn b/c on the one hand, I love the cover of LiOS, but on the other hand, apparently a hardcover is coming out in the States. But what is it going to look it?!
Booooo YouTube.
