Ooo...that nail art book looks like so much fun! As soon as I stop breaking mine off I have to try to pretty them up. Nice book haul, ladies. ;)
Looking forward to reading another Richelle Mead book here soon! I love her writing too. Not really sure what Dance of Shadows is about besides involving ballet, but the cover is pretty amazing. I haven't seen that cover version for Paper Valentine yet. It does look creepy - probably a better representation for the tone of the book though. Hope you love all your new reads! <3 - heather
I'm looking forward to Through the Ever Night. I got it two months ago. I loved Under the Never Sky, so I can't wait to get to it.
Here's mine
~Danica Page@Taking it One Page at a Time
I have to say, I really liked the ballet part of Dance of Shadows (and the cover!) but the way the ending was set up to lead into the next book felt really tacked on, even though it must have been planned like that. A bit disappointing.
Paper Valentine sounds good and I love the cover from Dance of Shadows. Happy reading! :D
Mel@thedailyprophecy.
The Mimosa Tree does have a very nice cover. Paper Valentine sounds amazing. Really great books this week. Hope you love them. Happy Reading!
*bangs head on desk* I still need to order my copy of The Indigo Spell.

Ooh! I actually really love that cover for Paper Valentine! I love the US cover, too (give me all the silhouettes on covers!), but you're right, the one you have is way creepier, which works for the story. I look forward to hearing what you think—I really, really liked it.
Happy Weekend!
I just loved TtEN, Mandee, so I'm curious to see what you think of it. I think The Mimosa Tree sounds lovely, so I really hope that one is good - as I'm sure it will be as it's Aussie! I cannot wait to hear your thoughts on that one!(: Happy Reading, Dearest! :D
I just got my copy of Indigo Spell too. Hope you love it.

All of them look really interesting including the nail book. I know a friend who would like really like it since she does her nails in different ways all the time. Song in the Dark looks the most interesting to me. The cover at least does so I will have to check what it's about soon. Great haul!
I really want to read Paper Valentine. I love the UK cover too. The US one is great, but this one is a bit more creepy and that's kind of cool. :)
Awesome nail art book too. i wish I knew how to do all that.
I got Dance of Shadows and Paper Valentine this week too. They were pretty good books. Happy reading!
through the ever night is awesome, hope you enjoy it and the rest of the books!

I cant wait to read Through the Ever Night and Paper Valentine. Great book week!
Nice list of review books-happy reading :) I actually didn't recognize Paper Valentine-that is such a different cover than the US one I've seen.
Through the Ever Night AND Paper Valentine! Yaay! Just seeing them makes me so happy. And my copy of Indigo Spell is still on its way, I can't wait for it to get here. I just know it'll be my favorite of the series.
Happy reading! Enjoy them all.
TTEN and TIS two of my fave reads of this year so far! Hope you enjoy. ^^
The Mimosa Tree looks amazing, and I love the cover. (I also really like the cover for Paper Valentine, even if that hand is a bit creepy!) Hope you have fun with the nail art book - I am trying desperately to grow my nails back out as they're a bit of a mess!
Dance of Shadows is really good and the cover is just so pretty! I read Through the Ever Night at the start of the week and it is amazing. And now I'm having withdrawals! Bring on next year and In The Still Blue! Happy reading! :)
Through the Ever Night was one of my favourite reads last month, and I enjoyed Paper Valentine well enough too. I'm glad to see them in your haul! I'm curious about Song in the Dark. I discovered it recently on Goodreads and look forward to seeing what you think. :)
oooh! lots of awesome books this week! can't wait to hear what you think of them!
I'm currently reading The Indigo Spell, and it is so good! I'll be reading Paper Valentine next, and I'm really looking forward to it. Happy reading, Mandee!
Dance of Shadows sounds pretty good, although I've heard mixed thoughts. The ballet aspect intrigues me.
Hope you enjoy all your goodies, Mandee! Oooh, nail art. I know how much you like painting your nails. Hope you find lots of fun with that.
Great haul. :)
So enjoyed Indigo Spell and am going to crack on with Through the Ever Night, the others al sound really good too. Lovely haul :)
Paper Valentine is SO SO good. As is Through the Ever Night. My favorite literary couple EVER is in that book. The nail art book looks fun! I love painting my nails and doing designs on others nails (I can't do pretty designs on my left hand haha). I hope you enjoy reading them!
I agree with you. We need more yellow on book covers! I think it's my favorite too. It just always seems to catch my eye.
I HATED Dance of Shadows. And I suspect you will dislike it as well. Interesting that you say the author had a background in ballet, because I feel she got a lot wrong. I hope you have better luck with it then I did.
I've heard great things about Paper Valentine so far.
Hi, Mandee! You look gorgeous. ;-)
Put everything down and read Through the Ever Night. So so so gorgeous!
Enjoy the books!
The Mimosa Tree really caught my eye, and how fun that it's set in the 80s. Can't wait to hear what you think. The nail art book looks like it has some great ideas. Enjoy!
YAY! The Indigo Spell! <3 ADRIAN!!!! Awesome nail art book! I got really into doing fancy things with my nails for awhile but all the work and then they always chip way too fast so I gave up. I bought this cool kit where it is a stencil and you fill it with the polish then use a stamp to pick it up and stamp it onto your nail. It was really cool but I just got tired of all the trouble! LOL
Hi Mands!
The Mimosa Tree cover is so, so gorgeous, you're right. I love all things watercolored! And it's AUSTRALIAN? AND A DEBUT? Holy cow. Please review this soon! :)
OH! And I love your cover for Through the Ever Night. So pretty! What? You haven't read Under the Never Sky yet? MANDEEEEEE! Get on it! I hope you love these. I enjoyed the depth of the story a bit more in the 2nd book, so even if you're feeling a bit shakey after the first, push on!
I went to a signing on Friday and the Paper Valentine author was there. Mandee! She's fascinating! She's so, so lovely. I wanted to buy the books, but the signing was swamped, so I'm going to have to order it or purchase from somewhere else. Again, very excited to hear what you think!
Great, great vlog, Mandee! xoxo
Great book haul! Enjoy :)
Great haul this week! Ah The Indigo Spell--such a good book! Dying for the next one. Dance of Shadows looks really good! Hope you enjoy all your books Mandee! Happy reading! :)
Amazing haul this week Mandee! I really hope to get into the Bloodlines series soon! Same goes for the Under the Never Sky books I've heard great things about Paper Valentine but mixed reviews about Dance of Shadows, I hope you'll like it though :) The nail art book looks like a lot of fun, I'm sure it'll keep you busy for a bit ;) Congrats on all these goodies & happy reading.
Oooh cannot wait to see what nail art your new books inspire :D I love the cover versions of the books you listed! --Noelle
Cassie - it does look fun! It’s hard not to break nails but a good strengthener or a product like Nubar Nu Nail works great!
Heather – Richelle’s books are always so good! Good to know the cover of PV is a good match for the book :)
Danica – I’m glad you enjoyed UtNS, I hope I do, too!
Tsana – cool! I haven’t heard good things but I do like books about dance!
Mel – Thanks, Mel!
Britt – the cover is so lovely :)
Kristin – QUICK!!!
Anna – Ok, now the cover has grown on me, I think I was just expecting the pretty one but I like that this matches the vibe.
Keertana – I am sure it will be too, we can (almost) always count on Aussie YA to be AWESOME!
Brandi – I did love it, B!
Adriana – You should let her know, maybe she can order a copy, too! There are a couple more I’d like, if I get them I will feature them in my STS post
Lauren – So many people are saying they like this cover more, it’s definitely growing on me! And when it comes to nail art (like so many other things), practice is everything! And just having fun with it ;)
Erin - I’m glad you enjoyed them, I hope I do, too!
Juhina – I hope I like it, too!
Candace – It was a very great book week!
Bookworm1858 – it is so different, you wouldn’t even know they were the same book!
Maja – I hope your copy has shown up by now, hun!
Renu – ooh, well now I hope I do, too!
kit - it’s pretty, right? You should have a look for Nubar Nu Nail, it’s a great product!
Lucy – Oh, that is the one bad thing about series, having to wait soooo long!
Sam – Well if you like TtEN, then I hope I will, too! And I’ll hopefully have a review of Song in the Dark up soon!
Carrie – it was a very good week, filled with great books!
Lee – I hope you ended up loving TIS – I did!
Livvy – me too, I worry when opinions are so divided!
Katja – I ended up loving TIS, too!
Rach – so glad you loved PV, I hope I do, too! And I LOVE that you enjoy painting your nails, too!! I need to see pics :D
Kara – I like yellow too, it’s such a lovely colour. And I know, I reme, ber your status updates when you were reading DoS, I do not have high hopes!
Andrea – aw, you’re too kind, hun! Haha, yes, ma’am! Well, I will read UtNS first and then I will get to start TtEN right away!
Lucy – I like that it’s set in the 80s, too! It’s a bit different from YA these days.
Jennifer – ADRIAN!!!! Indeed ;) I have a stamping set (Konad) and I really enjoy using it, but it does take a bit of time and my nails always chip, too!
Magan – Hey Magan! Watercolour always look so pretty! I will read and review asap! I know, I know! I am a bit behind on some 2012 debut series, I just didn’t think a lot of them were for me but now I am playing catch up!
Ellen - Thanks, Ellen!
Bailey – I can’t wait for the next Bloodlines book, either! I don’t think we have too long to wait!
Micheline – yes, yes! You should read Bloodlines for sure, they are fun and so easy to get through.
Noelle – I will be sure to post photos (or start posting on my soon-to-be nail art blog!!)
My god your bookshelf is getting full! I rmemeber when you first started doing your vlogs you had more decorations than books in there, and now it's an EXPLOSION of books.
Also, have you read any of Brenna Yovanoff's other books? I liked The Replacement, and Sarah bought me her second novel and I haven't read it yet because I fail.
I'm so bad at doing nails, especially mine. I just don't have a steady hand. Great books! I really love that version of Under the Never Sky. The cover is much cooler that U.S. version... at least I think so. Haha.
