Dead Romantic is amazing and so I hope you enjoy it; I know I did!
I really want to read Shadow and Bone and must pick it up soon.
Happy reading! :)
Wow! What a great haul. Thanks for sharing. I hope you enjoy all of your books.
Here's my book haul.
~Danica Page@Taking it One Page at a Time
I have such a difficult time with my cats when I'm filming a vlog too:) I want to read Shadow and Bone soon. I hope you enjoy all your reads.
Random non-bookish question: Do you have a vegan blog too?
I loved The Name of the Star and can't wait to read The Madness Underneath! Enjoy all of your books, Mandee!
those are pretty awesome books! I love aussie books and some of those are pretty interesting.
awesome book haul!

Ooh, The Anatomy of Wings looks so good! I'm excited to see what you think of it, Mandee! :D Also, I've been meaning to read Maureen Johnson since forever, so I really need to start her books. Plus, SIEGE AND STORM? Gosh, I hope you enjoy it more than Shadow and Bone! I'm reallyyyy excited for it and believe me, The Darkling got to everyone! *swoon* I love Mal, but The Darkling has an allure all of his own! ;) Happy Reading, Mandee, and I hope you enjoy your event! :D
OMG BETWEEN THE LIVES! I really want to read that :o The Violet Eden Chapters are AMAZING. Seriously when you get time read Embrace. Don't let the angel bit put you off - Jessica did a really good take on the idea.
I've also been recommended Simmone Howell so I'll check her out.
AND ERMAGHERD LEIGH BARDUGO! It was an immediate 5 for me. TEAM DARKLING YAY ;D I saw your many listed ratings and was like "@_@ whaaa?" even though I'm so biased about S&B, I say don't let anybody influence your rating - not us who love it, or those who hate it.
I CAN'T WAIT TO MEET YOU AT THE SUMMIT :)
Looking up the Aussie ones now--first three are all new to me :)
Brandi @ Blkosiner’s Book Blog
Cat picture!! I love when the cats are in the picture! Also, you got some really awesome books.
I kind of skipped on this Maureen Johnson series because I kind of really hated Scarlett Fever and I'm like very meh about her writing now.
The aussie books sound great and those last two, they don't look like YA covers really ,more like literary fiction covers.
GIRL DEFECTIVE!! And I'm loving the cover of How to Keep a Boy from Kissing You. I really should read Maureen Johnson's books. She's hilarious on Twitter. Awesome haul this week, Mands!
Molly is such a scene stealer. :)
Oh noes! You've got to squash all that spam. :( Makes me feel sad.
Hehe. We've already gone over that misconception with Reason to Breathe/BB. Those covers... really.
I just read part of your review for Shadow and Bone. I was actually expecting something off about the Darkling. I was a bit mystified by him for a bit, and yes I felt betrayed by his promises, but that revelation didn't fizzle things out for me. I liked how it ended. I agree about the average-girl-discovers-her-secret-powers-and-wow-now-she's-the-it-girl. Alina bugged me a bit but I just loved the story as a whole and the mythology really intrigued me. I wanted a bit more but I'm going to give it a 4.5 or 5.
Girl Defective sounds SO good. Also got a copy of it and I'll have to squeeze it in next month.
Looks like you got some good books! :-) Thanks for the follow. Returning the favor. Happy reading!
Tons of great books! I've been wanting to read Shadow and Bone forever. How To Keep a Boy from Kissing You sounds cute! :-D Happy reading and thanks for stopping by!
Such amazing books! Can't wait to see what you think of Dead Romantic - I'm dying to read it! I'm reading Reason to Breathe at the moment - it's good so far (quite a long book though).
Sorry I haven't been around much - I hope to change that this week!
Happy reading! :) x
*sigh* Between the Lives!! I hope my copy comes Monday (before I leave for Syd at any rate). How awesome that you got Madness Underneath and Siege and Storm as well :D How to Keep a Guy from Kissing You - lol! I love that title.
I hope you enjoy all those booksies!! <3

Come and check out my weekly book haul feature, Stocktake Saturday.
Wonderful haul, Mandee! I had an e-mail saying Siege and Storm's in the post to me. Hope it arrives tomorrow, that will save me staring at the letter box every morning until it's arrival :)
Love the sound of Girl Defective (although I totally misread the cover as Girl Detective at first!) - I haven't read any Simmone Howell but I just requested a book of hers from the library (Everything Beautiful), looking forward to its arrival! I'll be interested to hear what The Madness Underneath is like, I enjoyed the first book but wasn't sure whether or not to pick up the sequel.
And those last two books do look like they belong on the erotica shelf - an odd way to package YA! Have a good weekend. :)
Is that a hardback of S&B? I really need to get that version as I am in love with the cover! I like the UK PB I have, but that one is just awesome. Amazing haul! :)
Shadow and Bone is one of the best books ever! youll love it!
My Haul! Letterbox Love!
Great book haul! I've heard Reason to Breathe and Barely Breathing are brutal! I plan to read those when book three comes out. Enjoy!
Dead Romantic looks pretty interesting. And lots of Aussie books. I'm always interested in the Aussie books since we don't really get that many of them over here.
Great haul, Mandee! :)
Those Aussie titles look great but Siege and Storm is the one most calling to me! Happy reading :)
OOOooOoOooOOOOOh! Mandee likes a book boy lol!!! Love the cover for Girl Defective - I'm going to check that one out. Hope you love everything! <3
-heather
I'll be very interested to see your thoughts on How to Keep a Boy From Kissing You...if it's even nearly as good as my Georgia I'll be happy ;) Those last couple of books don't look YA at all, they do seem a bit ADULT. Hope you love them. Happy Reading!
Great haul this week! Also, your cat is adorable!
Check out my StS post
OMG you got so many great books! You guys have so many great Aussie authors that we hardly get to read here in the US....super jealous! But I do LOVE Jessica Shirvington's books! And now she has a thriller coming out??!!?? Awesome. So many great books for you to read :) Thanks for visiting Elegantly Bound Books!
Crystal @ Elegantly Bound Books
Ooooh, The Madness Underneath.
I have that one pre-ordered for release day. I'm looking forward to it, especially after the end of The Name Of The Star.
Enjoy your reads.
Please check out my haul at http://thewanderingbookworm.wordpress.com/2013/02/23/showcase-sundayletterbox-lovestacking-the-shelvesbought-borrowed-bagged/
I still really need to get around to reading Shadow & Bone, I have had it since it came out but have yet to pick it up. I like that cover for The Madness Underneath! Australian covers are always great, whenever I see them on Netgalley I drool! Great haul! I hope you enjoy all the new goodies!
Your cat is just adorable, I have to say! I want a cat. :) Anyway, looks like you got some awesome books. Dead Romantic sounds like a fun one; hadn't come across it yet.
Awesome to see another Jessica Shirvington book out there. Can't wait to pick it up.
M.J.
Reason to Breathe and the sequel I've heard are quite addicting but end on cliffhangers. I've been putting of reading them for that reason. I got the 2nd to Siege and Storm as well but I haven't read Shadow and Bone yet. For some reason I haven't been really moved to pick it up and now I'm a little worried after hearing your thought. Sometimes I do better if I lower my expectations, though and there were so many 5 star ratings out there. Have fun meeting Michele! It's so nice to meet up with bloggers that you talk with often! :)
Oh look at all the lovely Aussie books!! I think How to Keep a Boy From Kissing You and Between the Lives definitely sound like my sort of reads! I'll definitely be adding them to the tbr! I hope you enjoy all your books! The Darkling <3!!! :)
& my To Read list keeps growing and growing! :D
WHAT. Okay, so I just read the summary of Girl Defective and It. Sounds. AMAZING. Please oh please come to the US! I NEED TO READ YOU NOW. I'm definitely looking forward to your review of that one, Mandee!
Same goes for How to Keep a Boy From Kissing You. That book sounds like SO much fun!
I've had my eye on the Bardugo books for a while. I keep seeing glowing reviews. Perhaps once things slow down for me I'll pick up the first.
So many AUSSIE books I want! *grabby hands* It drives me crazy how few of them are published over here! AGHHHHH.
I still need to read The Name of the Star. Lyn only gave it a 3 but I still want to read it because I am fascinated by the Jack the Ripper case.
Enjoy them all, Mandee!
Fabulous haul Mandee - Jessica Shirvington is definitely on my radar of authors to check out - can't wait to see how you'll like her! I loved your review of Shadow and Bone so I can't wait to read your thoughts on Siege & Storm as well :) Girl Defective & How to Keep a Guy from Kissing You sound good too - happy reading!
Nice book haul! Enjoy!
Dead Romantic's cover is really creepy but it's made me super intrigued... haha! I had no idea Shirvington had another book coming out. I adore her Violet Eden books! Happy reading :D
